What a week! I have been ill the whole week, when my husband has been away on a holiday. Luckily, no appointments, as if people would know that I am not well or that I am not able to do any hair at the moment. Yesterday I did receive a call for two hair cuts for Monday. And what did I have ? I still am not sure, but some people seem to suggesting that I had some kind of childrens disease, one of those boxes but this one is in throat. My throat was swollen, red and hurt sooo much. I had fever, I could not move for couple of days. I was shivering, feeling a head ache and generally, I was in a state. And look what the doctor gave me!!!! Lovely pink antibiotics, which I have now renamed barbi-biotics. It is just because there is a glam in everything, even in getting better. I suppose next thing they will do is put some glitter on them....
I have been watching Celebrity Scissorhands. It is like a horror movie of a hairdresser. Everytime Steve Strange takes the scissors into his hands, I can't watch. It is a sheer scare of how the hair will turn out. And I am not the one who is being treated, imagine how I would be in there. I suppose with scissors he can't do that much of a damage, but wait if he takes clippers, then the world is turning upside down. Forget the blending and start to see some bold patches. and we are not talking about those controlled pictures that some people seem to be doing, like drawing on head. No, this is completely out of control, clients are scared for their ears and not for nothing, last year he actually did cut someones ear. And eyes, it is one thing to say that you have to be very carefull around the eyes, but when you see his hand shaking, oh boy, I would hate to sit on the chair. But truely speaking, I do enjoy about the show. It is for the charity and hopefully at least couple of them learn how to cut reasonably at the end of three weeks. I still would not have the hair cut done by them.....
